Wolf
By Adriana Janaína Poeta
(in Dagger of Roses)

There is a wolf
and there is a pack.
There is a Man
and there is The humanity.

The Wolf Voice
is frank, direct,
objective.
The one of humanity, it snakes.

And the wolf is lonely,
and the man is also.
Wolf, wolf...
Humanity.

Pointed Claws,
hard, sharp.
Steel feet
on long road...

And the man is a magician
which never takes revenge.
Only walks,
and walks.

And one day,
the wolf meets the man.
Their gazes fuse
in a placid wrath.

The wolf is the man
and the pack is distant.
One left the humanity
In the mists of a bad dream.

Why be wild
is to be free
and to be a one.
It's better than being part of many voices.

So I do not fear the wolf.
That's why I'm strong.
And I allow him to dwell
my deep being.

Lobo
Por Adriana Janaína Poeta
(in Punhal de Rosas)

Existe um lobo
e existe a alcateia.
Existe um Homem
e existe a humanidade.

A voz do lobo
é franca, direta,
objetiva.
A da humanidade, serpenteia.

E o lobo é solitário,
e o Homem, também é.
Alcateia, alcateia...
Humanidade.

Garras pontiagudas,
duras, afiadas.
Patas de aço
na longa estrada postas...

E o Homem é um mágico
que nunca se vinga.
Apenas caminha,
caminha.

E um dia,
o lobo encontra o Homem.
Seus olhares se fundem
numa ira plácida.

O lobo é o Homem
e a alcateia está distante.
A humanidade partiu
nas brumas de um sonho ruim.

Porque ser selvagem
é ser livre.
E ser um,
é melhor que fazer parte de muitas vozes.

Por isso, não temo o lobo.
Por isso, sou forte.
Eu permito que ele habite
o meu ser profundo.
